Stargaze at Harlech Castle!

Stargaze at Harlech Castle this Friday!

Cadw, which is the Welsh Government’s historic environment service, is hosting a stargazing evening at Harlech Castle Friday 17 November.

You are invited to come along and take a tour of the night sky. You will be able to see constellations, learn how to use binoculars and navigate using star maps.

You will be shown how to set up telescopes and even photograph the night sky. You do not need any experience or equipment to enjoy this event.

This is open for all from the age of 12. Refreshments will be available.

Bring along a torch, a blanket and wear warm clothes and suitable footwear (no stilettos here!)

You will need to book a space – phone 01766 780552.

In the event of bad weather, then the experience may be cancelled. If this is the case, you will be contacted in advance and an alternative date will be arranged, or you will be able to exchange your experience day.
