HOW DO I BOOK?
The availability calendar is always up-to-date. Arrival day is normally a Saturday during the peak summer season. At all other times the arrival days are flexible so if a Saturday is not convenient for you, please contact me and I will do my best to fit in with your plans.
COMPLETE THE ENQUIRY FORM
Complete the enquiry form, stating your name, preferred dates, contact details. We will then send you a booking form and a copy of our terms and conditions.
The dates are held for 7 days until I receive your 25% deposit and booking form. Payment can be made by either cheque or bank transfer. We will then confirm your booking. The balance is due 6 weeks before your holiday starts. We will send a reminder for the balance nearer to the time. When the balance is paid we will send a receipt and directions to Gors-lŵyd. We will also contact you one week before your holiday to confirm your arrival arrangements.
WHAT ABOUT A DAMAGE DEPOSIT?
We do not take a damage deposit – we never have done. We trust that you will look after Gors-lŵyd just as we look after Gors-lŵyd. We trust that if there are any damages or breakages, you will let us know and agree to replace like for like (we fully expect that there will be minor breakages such as the odd plate or glass so we do not expect you to pay for these!). Also if for some reason, Gors-lŵyd is left in a sorry state after you leave, we expect you to reimburse us the cost in time and money for putting things right for the next guests.
Arrival is usually from 4pm and I (Sam) will personally meet you at the cottage to say a big “Hello” and show you around. Being local, I can answer any questions you may have and point you in the right direction if you need a shop or restaurant etc. I live down the lane so I am on hand at all times if you need anything at all!
Then…kick off your shoes, sit back, relax…and enjoy your holiday!
