Welcome to GORS-LŴYD, a self catering cottage on the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales. A mountain retreat surrounded by large gardens boasting breathtaking views of mountains and sea. A 2 bedroom detached holiday cottage for up to 4 people. We also have a well-equipped games room with full-size pool table, table football and dartboard. We also have an electric vehicle charge point for guests to use.
SO WHAT MAKES US SO SPECIAL?
Welcome to our beautifully mountain cottage, a sanctuary where the wild beauty of Yr Eifl and the timeless allure of Tre’r Ceiri embrace you. Perched along the dramatic Wales Coastal Path and the historic Pilgrims’ Path, this is a place where every step tells a story—of ancient pilgrims, rugged landscapes, and the enduring spirit of the Welsh countryside.
Whether you’re drawn by the call of the hills, the mystery of Tre’r Ceiri’s Iron Age hillfort, or the panoramic views from Yr Eifl’s peaks, our cottage offers a warm retreat after a day of exploration. For those who love the skies as much as the trails, the area is also a haven for birdwatching, with a rich variety of species to spot against a stunning natural backdrop.
Unwind, reflect, and let the magic of this remarkable landscape inspire your journey.
Gors-lŵyd Cottage is situated on the outskirts of Llithfaen, one of the highest villages on the Llŷn Peninsula.
Get ready for a whole host of activities; walking, hiking, cycling, horse riding, bird watching, mountain climbing, fishing or golf. Or you can just come and relax of course!
Llithfaen is within easy reach of the beaches of the Llŷn Peninsula, as well as the castles of North Wales. No holiday to this area would be complete without a trip up Mount Snowdon, a ride on the world-famous Ffestiniog steam railway or a visit to the famous slate caverns and slate museums.
