Coronavirus (Covid 19) Update – 3 July 2020
The Welsh Government have announced the latest changes to the phased lifting of lockdown restrictions:
The 5-mile travel restrictions in Wales will end on Monday 6 July – but visitors will not be allowed to stay overnight, so day-trippers only.
Visitor attractions can re-open from Monday 6 July.
Self-contained accommodation can now re-open on Saturday 11 July.
Pubs, restaurants and cafés with outdoor spaces can re-open on Monday 13 July.
*2m distance rule stays in place*
This is a tentative decision, based on there being no major outbreaks locally. In areas where an outbreak occurs, we need to bear in mind that local councils can over-ride the Welsh Government decision and reinstate a lockdown.
