Important Update From Snowdon Railway

The weather is absolutely fantastic, but it has made grass, gorse and foliage tinder-dry. So Snowdon Railway have had to issue an important update about their train services:

Due to the risk of line-side fires, Snowdon Railway will be operating their diesel trains ONLY – this is until further notice. Over the last week, a few trains have had to stop as they had triggered small fires. These were dealt with by the train drivers and crew.

It’s disappointing but I am sure everyone will understand….and the views are just as stunning from the diesel trains!
