Having now twice had the pleasure of staying at Gors-lwyd, we can’t wait for our next visit to ‘our favourite holiday cottage’, as we call it – a beautiful haven of peace, where it’s impossible not to feel relaxed and refreshed within moments of arriving. We always sleep so well, surrounded by the peaceful silence all around, broken only by the beautiful variety of birdsong. Sam has fitted and furnished the cottage with everything you could want – a charming home from home – so there’s nothing to do except relax and appreciate the views, the walks over hills, along the coast, the beaches, or simply to sit and enjoy the gardens. It is rare actually to look forward to cooking in someone else’s kitchen, but we always love the space and facilities at Gors-lwyd and we’ve created some wonderful meals, having first bought some of the delicious Welsh Lamb or Welsh Black Beef from the Glasfryn Farm shop. We’d be really surprised if Gors Lwyd doesn’t become your favourite holiday cottage too!
