Kayaking & Paddle Boarding Sessions – Aberdaron & Porthdinllaen

Don’t forget that during the summer school holidays and September, there will be kayaking sessions on offer at Aberdaron. During the summer school holidays paddle boarding sessions at Porthdinllaen.

Booking is essential – so think ahead!

Kayaking sessions (Aberdaron Beach)

These run on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays during summer school holidays and on Saturdays during September. A session lasts 2 hours and start times are 10am, 12.30pm and 2.45pm.
A session costs £30 per person, (there’s a £5 discount for National Trust members).
Qualified kayaking guides will provide either single seat or tandem kayaks (plus all other essential equipment). You will need swimwear, old trainers and a towel.

Paddle boarding at Porthdinllaen

These run every Tuesday and Saturday during the summer holidays.
A session lasts 1 ½ hours and start times are 11am, 1.15pm and 3.30pm,
A session costs £30 per person, (there’s a £5 discount for National Trust members).
A qualified paddle boarding coach will provide all the necessary equipment including a Red Paddle Co boards which are really versatile and provide an excellent experience for beginners as well as the more experienced.

*Please note for either kayaking or paddle boarding:
Minimum age is 8 and we advise that children under 11 should be accompanied by an adult
Young children are best sharing one of the tandem kayaks with one or two adults
Swimming ability is useful but not vital
